Superman actor, Henry Cavill says he will wait for AMD's latest 7900 series video card
Superman and his gamer side: Henry Cavill says no to the RTX 4090, he prefers the new AMD. Henry Cavill, the famous actor who recently announced his return as Superman in the DCU and who has just given up his role as Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix series The Witcher, is also known for sharing one of his biggest hobbies: video games and gaming in general. And a while back we saw a video of the actor assembling his own gaming PC, now he has shared his preferences on the latest GPU models on the market. So much so, that Cavill has assured that he prefers to wait for the newly introduced AMD RX 7000 Series instead of the powerful Nvidia RTX 4090. And he has his reasons.
Henry Cavill prefers AMD over Nvidia
Cavill currently has a computer with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core processor along with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and an Asus ROG RTX 3090 GPU, a graphics card that he replaced with his previous model, an RTX 2080 Ti. Although the really interesting thing is that Cavill intends to make the leap to the new AMD Radeon RX 7900XT instead of opting for latest Nvidia RTX 4090.
Various media outlets such as SlashGear have reported that the actor has mentioned that he plans to continue using AMD processors, specifically from the Ryzen 7000 series, without specifying the model. All this with the aim of having a PC totally based on AMD components.
And it is that as the actor himself recently acknowledged in an interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he spends about four hours or even more a day on video games, playing games like Total War : Warhammer 3, a strategy video game based on his favorite franchise: Warhammer.
