Spider Man: Miles Morales on PC: see gameplay and minimum requirements

New Spider-Man game has a smaller reach than Spider-Man Remastered, but functions as an independent expansion of the first game. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales arrived for PC this Friday (18) with the adventure of a new Spider-Man. The Insomniac Games title, published by PlayStation PC, tells the story of Miles Morales, a young man who needs to adapt to a new home and superpowers, and for that he has the help of Peter Parker, his mentor and Spider-Man. original. The game, which was one of the PlayStation 5 (PS5) launch titles, will be released for computers via Steam and the Epic Games Store for R$199.90. See more about the hero game below.

The title’s story takes place during the holiday season, and tells both Miles’ adventures as Spider-Man and as a teenager who tries to adapt to his new home with his uncle, which is located in the Harlem neighborhood of New York.

While figuring out how to deal with both situations, Miles will become involved in a huge conspiracy. That’s because an energy company, Roxxon, intends to settle in his neighborhood with ulterior motives, while the Underground rebel group, led by Tinkerer, will try to stop it with violent methods. In the midst of all this, Miles’ uncle will discover his secret identity and help him choose the right side in the conflict, although he also seems to be hiding some secrets.

The core gameplay of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales works as an extension of Spider-Man Remastered. There is the same way of traversing webs in the open world, in addition to elements of stealth and a combat system. However, the sequel has a lot of exclusive content, such as extra powers that only Miles has, unreleased gadgets and missions and challenges created specifically for the new game. It is also worth mentioning that the open world, despite being essentially the same, gained a different look thanks to snow and festive decorations.

The main difference in the game is in Miles’ powers, who, by being bitten by a different spider, develop unique abilities. One of them, called ‘Venom’, allows you to discharge shocks of bioelectricity to stun enemies, gain airspeed and more. In addition, Miles has the ability to generate a type of camouflage and become practically invisible. This allows him to pass through areas undetected or take out enemies without being seen.

On PC, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales supports Ray Tracing technology for reflections and shadows, uncapped FPS frame rates, ultrawide monitor support, and more. The game is compatible with performance-enhancing technologies such as Nvidia DLSS 3, 2 and DLAA, AMD FSR 2.1, Intel XeSS and IGTI, as well as Nvidia Reflex for lower control latency. Users will also be able to use the PlayStation 5 (PS5) DualSense controller to play on PC with all the haptic functions of the Sony console.
