Samsung Brings Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now to TVs Launched in 2021

Cloud gaming has become more and more popular and now this feature has arrived on modern Samsung TVs and now the manufacturer is already ensuring that Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce Now work on its 2021 Smart TVs.

While on new TVs, the function works natively through the Samsung Gaming Hub, it will be necessary to download the Xbox Cloud Gaming app and GeForce Now through the Samsung store to play via cloud on the company’s smart TVs manufactured last year.

The novelty will begin with GeForce Now becoming available on Samsung Smart TVs, launched in 2021, starting next week. Xbox Cloud Gaming and Amazon Luna (Amazon’s cloud gaming service) will arrive on the Korean manufacturer’s TVs by the end of the year.

‘When the Samsung Gaming Hub arrived earlier this year on 2022 TV models, the number one question we got was ‘when is cloud gaming coming to my 2021 TV?’ Today, we’re happy to share with our eager fans that they’ll be able to play the games they love before the year is out,’ said Mike Lucero, head of Samsung’s gaming division (via The Verge).

In the case of Xbox Cloud Gaming, Microsoft is working to bring the vibration feature to Xbox app controllers on Samsung TVs 2021 and 2022. in the cloud with vibration in the controls,’ said Ashley McKissick, CVP of Gaming Experiences at Microsoft.

‘Grab your favorite Bluetooth controller, like the Xbox Wireless controller and PlayStation DualSense, and start playing,’ adds McKissick.

A few weeks ago, Microsoft revealed that Xbox Cloud Gaming reached the 20 million user mark. The company had plans for an Xbox console focused solely on cloud gaming, but it was canceled due to its higher costs.
