Acer Predator Helios 300 a good priced gaming laptop

Acer Predator Helios 300 comes loaded with a 15.6-inch FHD screen an Intel Core i7-7700HQ, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 graphics card and 16 GB RAM and two disks.

Acer Predator Helios 300 is a solid gaming laptop. It is made with attention to detail and the quality of the materials used (plastic and aluminum) looks really impressive. The whole construction feels quite strong, and feels like its resistant to pressure even with high force. Also the design of the laptop is attractive – the black is met with red accents, it looks beautiful.

Helios 300 is available, of course, in many configurations, varying in processor, graphics card, memory, or disk size. The entry level configuration runs about $1050 USD. Is that a lot? At first glance yes, but at second look compared at the offerings of other manufacturers the price is fair. And in this case the price is adequate.

Final Score:
high quality
attractive housing design
good overall performance and 3D capabilities
Convenient keyboard and touchpad
matt IPS screen

iPhone 8, latest info, price, to be released September 12

There is very little time left for the launch of the new iPhone. Next September 12  three new Apple phones will be officially unveiled and Apple will celebrate ten years since the launch of their first iPhone. So far, everyone seems to agree on calling the new flagship as “iPhone 8” but we may have been wrong all this time and there is no official name for the phone.

Last week rumors appeared that spoke of another name for the new iPhone: Apple iPhone Edition. A rumor began circulating that it would be called “Phone Edition” also that the successors of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus would be called iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, respectively. There could also be, as some expected, an iPhone 7S and an iPhone 7S Plus.

Now, the famous leaskter Evan Blass has confused us even further by posting a tweet on his Twitter account.

Just to confuse you even more, these are from the final retail packages for OLED iPhone cases from two separate, independent case makers…

Blass tweeted a couple of background images for an iPhone presented this year. According to the images they are cases for iPhone 8 and Blass indicates that they are intended for the variant of iPhone 2017 with OLED display. Only the brand’s new flagship would have OLED screen so the iPhone 8 would still be called iPhone 8, despite the rumors.

EverythingApplePro, also released a recent video on YouTube.

The new video shows possible names for the new Apple phone. We can see iPhone 7s Plus, iPhone X Edition.

The new iPhone will be released on September 12.

Other possible new features would also include: Sensor cutout, Facial recognition, Elongated power button, OLED display, Edge to edge display, Tap to wake, new dock, No home button.

Sphero R2-D2 comes with built in speaker, new app, tons of fun!

As the premiere of Star Wars The Awakening of Force back in 2015, Disney took advantage and gave us imperishable Star Wars merchandising. And one of the things that was most liked by the fans was the robot BB-8 that was controlled by an app via your mobile device, the company Sphero was used to create the droid. The next year we saw a special edition of BB-8 more in line with the look of the film, in addition to the Force Band, a smart multitasking bracelet that enabled you to control the robot as if we used the Force. In 2017, Sphero surprised us with a Lightning McQueen of the film Cars 3 which is basically the most technologically advanced toy ever made, and now, Disney and the robotics company have surprised us again.

So what’s one of the coolest things of the Sphero R2-D2 ?

Well according to Endgagdet, “One of the main changes with R2-D2 is that unlike the BB-8 models and BB-9E, it has a speaker built in. Sphero says it worked with audio experts with experience from “places like Bose” to make this happen, and the sounds you’ll hear from R2-D2 are straight from Star Wars: A New Hope”

Looking to win a Sphero R2-D2 ?Star Wars Original Trilog has a cool contest going.
