Crytek “Back to Dinosaur Island” was released free of charge now with Oculus Rift support

 In Gaming Zone

Crytek has just released some nice goodies for those who are into virtual reality, mainly the latest craze from Oculus Rift, as the company has released a free version of Back to Dinosaur Island a 15 year project that has been re written to support new virtual reality equipment.

But like most Crytek games, you’re going to need pretty high end hardware to enjoy it, the company states “Virtual Reality games require a high frame rate to guarantee a comfortable experience for the user. Running Back to Dinosaur Island on weaker hardware can cause lower frame rates, which can lead to users having a less than ideal experience.”
