AMD launches the AMD Ryzen 2600X and 2700 with Wraith Max heatsinks
AMD is looking towards this holiday season, looking to boost its sales. AMD will offer two different packs that will include a common gift: The Wraith Max CPU cooler that is capable of dissipating up to 200 watts.
The movement of AMD is intelligent, two of its strongholds in sales such as the Ryzen 7 2700X and the Ryzen 5 2600 can cannibalize the sales this Christmas of its inferior and superior counterparts respectively. For this reason, AMD has presented a new limited edition package that has become known as Ryzen Max and that would include with both GPUs the official heatsink of AMD Wraith Max. These bundle or also called packages, will be a limited edition and will be offered only on holidays, being a claim for those who are thinking of assembling a team on these dates so indicated.
The bundle will only affect two Ryzen CPUs
These bundles will be offered in two CPUs only: together with the AMD Ryzen 7 2700 and the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X. Both options represent positive sales but could be marred by those of their range brothers. Thus, the AMD Ryzen 7 2700 has 8 cores and 16 threads with a base frequency of 3.2 GHz and a boost that manages to raise its frequency to 4.1 GHz, all with a TDP of 65 watts. While the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X contains 6 cores and 12 threads at a base frequency of 3.6 GHz and achieves a boost of 4.2 GHz with a TDP higher than 95 watts.
This bundle would allow to increase stock frequencies thanks to its high dissipation power, since it is capable of dissipating up to 200 watts. XFR2 would do the rest to allow the CPU to acquire higher speed peaks under certain workloads, improving performance without the user having to touch a single parameter.
